Yesterday I built this beautiful little noise creature together with my girlfriend as a birthday present for a friend.

The people of my class at Berlin University of the Arts have an exhibition at the Großer Wasserspeicher in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, an experimental study on deep sea communication.
Together with the amazing Kira Kira from Iceland, I designed an orange glowing heart-like visual performance effect. The glowing effect is reacting to the audio.
A pseudo crackle box made up with just three components: 2 capacitors and the LM386. Playing it gives you somehow the same feeling like writing a SMS on your mobile phone so it feels quite familiar to touch and use this neat instrument although the audible outcome of your operation might be most unfamiliar.

A DIY electro-acoustic-feedback-string-drone instrument Ancellique. Most of the work was done at the Sommercamp Workstation in the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in a workshop supervised by Halldor Ulfarsson.
